Milnerton, a suburb of Cape Town, is located about 10KM outside of the CBD. The area is renowned for its beaches, lighthouse, restaurants, shopping centres, and its nature reserves, which are all located near to our fully furnished self-catering rental accommodation. From Milnerton's lagoon beach, right up to the Milnerton lighthouse is popular with both locals and international tourists. It's the perfect stretch of beach to go for a jog, a swim, surf or just to have a picnic while watching the sunset. All our Milnerton self-catering rental apartments are on the Myciti bus route, which runs along this stretch of beach so if you're not up to the walk it's as easy as hopping on a bus.

The Lagoon is often used by canoeists from the nearby Milnerton Canoe Club, one of the oldest clubs in the province. The Lagoon also boasts and extensive bird life which makes it a great spot for the avid bird watcher.

The Rietvlei Nature Reserve, located in Milnerton attracts bird watchers from around the world. The Reserve is home to a number of endangered species of birds such as the African Marsh Harrier and the Blue Crane. Located on Milnerton's former racecourse at Royal Ascot, is the Milnerton Racecourse Nature Reserve. Home to more mammals than the Rietvlei Reserve, you can find mongoose, hares, and antelope at the Milnerton Racecourse Nature Reserve, some of which are indigenous to the Western Cape. This is clearly the natural beauty of Cape Town at its best.
